International Travel Health Certification
For Your Pet

Important Notifications:

  • I will be out of the country from May 24th to June 10th. Services will be paused. Please email drnargundtravelvet@gmail.com to get started, or submit your query on the website on a later page.

  • CDC has updated guidelines that will impact travel for dogs.  Please visit the CDC website to determine what additional and specific documents your pet may need.  I will be happy to discuss this with you and go over your pet's individual situation!

  • There is a new disease impacting re-entry into the U.S. - New World Screwworm.  Please make sure you are informed about this as it may require a veterinary visit in the country your pet is returing to the U.S. from.

  • Most helpful tip: Get in touch with me right away! The health certificate process is more complex than it seems.  It is NOT just a certificate of health - it is a portofolio or dossier of evidence with supporting documents to prove the pet has met the requirements of the destination country.  Even if you don't know your travel date, that's ok!  Timelines can vary from a few days to several months.  Understandably, most owners know about the 10-day requirement... but that is often just the last step!  Once we connect, I can let you know a specific timeline to best suit your pet.

I work with your vet!
